Broadcast almost continuously since 1935, the program features beloved 78rpm records, captivating stories of the great bandleaders, musicians, composers, and vocalists of the time, listener requests, and special features that bring the music and history of the big band era to life. The program is hosted by Jazz enthusiast, author, and 30-year broadcasting veteran Jeff Bressler. The Make Believe Ballroom is heard on over 50 public, community, and university radio stations across the US and in the UK.
